About Classics Alive
Meet the Board of Directors and Advisors
Founded by Lauren Deutsch and Lindsay Deutsch in 2007, the mission of Classics Alive is to support young musicians and build classical music audiences by exposing youth to the art form using a unique and interactive approach. Classics Alive recognizes that by presenting classical music in ways that are accessible and understandable to young people, music becomes a powerful tool that will enrich the lives of today’s youth and the communities in which they live. By supporting student musicians in their musical studies, we hope to enable them to be successful young adults and eventually successful adults.
We do this by teaming with symphonies and schools; mentoring young musicians; and providing performance and listening opportunities to inspire the young musicians and audiences of today. We also run an Instrument Loan Program to provide deserving students with quality instruments
We have a Board of Directors and Board of Advisors to guide us in accomplishing our goals of bringing and keeping classical music alive for our youth.
Classics Alive is in the process of filing for 501(c)3 status. |
